Each facility, and what to expect

Pool lined with palm trees and loungers, with a thatched shelter at the far end

Two pools + children’s pool · unheated

The pools

The main pool runs to an infinity edge facing the sea, with the On The Rock swim-up bar; a smaller second pool sits lower down and is more sheltered when the wind blows. The children’s pool is next to the main one. Neither is heated.

Go for it if you want long swims with a sea view in the morning. Think twice if you need a heated pool in January — mornings can feel cool.

Wide beach with white umbrellas, loungers and kayaks lined up on the sand

About 50 m from the rooms · lifeguard · flags

The beach

A resort path leads down to a sandy beach set aside for guests, with free loungers, umbrellas and towels, a lifeguard and warning flags. Sea kayaks are free for up to an hour. From November to March the northeast wind brings waves and currents.

Go for it if you are visiting from April to October, when the sea is usually calm. Think twice if you want calm water for small children in mid-winter.

Restaurant terrace with tables under umbrellas, looking over gardens to the sea

Breakfast buffet · lunch & dinner 11:30 am–10 pm

Vista restaurant and the bars

Vista serves the breakfast buffet and Vietnamese and international dishes at lunch and dinner, with a sea-view terrace. On The Rock is the pool bar; the Beach Club serves drinks on the sand. Guests call the food good but pricier than in town.

Go for it if you want an easy dinner without leaving the resort. Think twice if you are eating out every night on a budget — Phan Thiet and Ham Tien are cheaper.

Zest Spa and the gym

Massages, scrubs, wraps and facials, couples’ rooms, and a sauna and steam room. Booking slots run from 8 am to 10 pm, last booking 9 pm. The gym is free; treadmills, a multi-station machine and free weights look out over the grounds.

Go for it if you want a massage after a dune tour or a long drive. Think twice if you expect town prices — spa rates are resort rates.

Kids club, cinema and games

A staffed kids club runs daily activities, and there is a playground with an inflatable castle on the lawn. A mini cinema, billiards, table tennis and karaoke keep older children busy; babysitting is available for a fee.

Go for it if you want an afternoon to yourselves while the children play. Think twice if you need a club open late — hours are not published, so check on arrival.

Getting the most from the facilities

01

Swim early in the windy months

From November to March the wind usually builds by late morning. Beach before 11 am, then move to the sheltered lower pool in the afternoon.

02

Book the spa a day ahead

Evening slots fill first in high season. Booking the morning after an early dune tour is the easiest way to get the time you want.

03

Ask about dietary needs in advance

Vegetarian dishes are on the breakfast buffet. For halal, Jain, allergies or diabetic meals, ask the hotel when you book — it is on request, not guaranteed.

Honest note

Wi-Fi is the weak spot: slow or patchy internet is the most frequent complaint in recent reviews, and on-site food, drinks and spa cost noticeably more than in town. Bring a local SIM or eSIM if you need to stay connected.

Questions about facilities at The Cliff

Is the main pool at The Cliff a real infinity pool?

Yes. The main pool has an infinity edge on its seaward side, so the water appears to run into the sea beyond, and a swim-up bar called On The Rock. Booking listings and tour operators disagree on whether the second pool also has an infinity edge; photos show it lower down, with more shelter from the wind.

Can I use the pools and spa at The Cliff after check-out?

Ask at reception. Many resorts in Mui Ne let departing guests use the pool and a changing room after the noon check-out, especially for evening drives back to Saigon, but The Cliff does not publish a policy. If you have a late departure, ask when booking, then confirm at reception.

Are there jellyfish on the beach at The Cliff?

We could not find reliable information either way for this beach. Jellyfish do appear along Vietnam’s south-central coast at certain times of year. Ask the lifeguard on duty each morning, swim where the flags say, and keep a little vinegar in your beach bag as a simple first-aid precaution.

Is the kids club at The Cliff free, and do I have to stay with my child?

The kids club is free and staffed, listed for children aged about 2 to 11. Rules on whether parents must stay depend on the child’s age and are not published, so check at reception. At the pools and spa, children under 11 must be supervised by an adult at all times.

Does The Cliff host weddings and events?

Yes. The resort hosts weddings and has event space of about 200 m² for up to 200 guests, plus smaller meeting rooms. It also runs seasonal events, such as a kite festival on its beach in May 2026 and Christmas and Lunar New Year celebrations. Contact the hotel’s events team for packages and dates.

What is Dining On The Rock at The Cliff?

It is a set dinner the hotel promotes on the cliffside above the sea, aimed at couples and special occasions. The hotel does not publish a fixed price or schedule, and it may depend on the weather and season. Ask reception or the Vista restaurant team a day or two ahead to check dates and cost.
